Family School Partnership

The Family School Partnership brings together families, teachers, and administrators to support a strong, inclusive, and joyful school community. Every Campus School parent, guardian, teacher, and administrator is a member, with opportunities to participate in ways that fit their interests and schedules.

Class representatives help coordinate family involvement in classroom and schoolwide activities. The group also organizes popular events like the annual book fair, ski club, merchandise sales, and guest speakers on parenting and community topics.

While the Family School Partnership helps strengthen connections across the community, it is not a policy-making body. School policies are set by Campus School teachers and administrators on behalf of Smith College.

Partnership Goals

  • To promote open and healthy communication between families and the school
  • To connect our school to the broader community and world
  • To raise funds for special programs and gifts
  • To offer educational opportunities for parents through Family School Partnership events, forums, meetings, and communications
  • To support the work of faculty and staff
  • To help new families assimilate into the school community

Annual Soirée & Auction

Each year, the Campus School Family School Partnership hosts a spring soiree and auction to raise funds for financial aid and other classroom expenses.

The auction is both in person and online and features more than 200 items donated by Campus School community members and generous local businesses.
